I took a moment to analyze an amazing song by Shinedown.
I understand what the song means. It's about him telling the person he's with that he loves her for the first time, and she is taken aback. She's been hurt before, and is afraid that if she feels for him any more, she'll get hurt again. He is trying to assure her that he'll always be protecting her, because he's been through the same situation, the same heartbreak. He's saying that he's protecting her, and will even protect her from himself if needed. After his last experience, he knows the pain, and won't let his pain happen to her. He then proceeds to say, "Even though I'm fighting for you, I hope you don't leave me." His overlying message is: I'm gonna fight for you, and protect you no matter what. I don't care if it kills me.

Who is the Orange Rose?
I'm not exactly a "down to Earth" kind of guy, but I'm not far out of it either. I'm average, I suppose. I have normal wants, normal needs, but the way I go about life is what makes everything different. I care about everything. I care about what people think of me and I care about those same people, too. Everything matters, even if you say it doesn't. I can find a reason for why it matters. I just care. I want my friends to be okay, and I want them to feel loved and appreciated. I'm a loving guy. What can I say?

Dreaming of Everything
I tell ya, I have the weirdest dreams. Like so:
School was going to start soon. I was sitting in a long hallway on a bench, reading a book. The first bell rang, but I didn't get up. It didn't matter, I guess. School was useless now that we all had super powers. I continued to read, when the second bell rang. I didn't care. Suddenly, the hall became oddly dark. I looked up, and saw a small boy. He must have been one of those small freshman. He was shaking. I walked up to him, and asked what was wrong. "They... they attacked me... they hurt me... they brought me to... I... ah.... uh...." he could barely get his words straight. I looked around and saw someone walking down the other hallway, that was perpendicular to mine. They turned at me when they did, and I felt horrified. They had no pupils, only white eyes. They disappeared behind the wall. I ran after her. I got to the end of the hall, turned to find her, but there was nothing. She was gone. I casually walked down the hall, looking for a clue to her whereabouts, when something caught my eye. It was a blue hugh coming from behind the wall. I put my hand on the wall, and it disappeared, replaced by a circular entrance with blue waves coming from it. I looked around, and then jumped in. It shot me straight down like a bullet. The tunnel's end curved, and launched me out, slowing me down greatly. I landed in what seemed to be a giant, fiery, boiler room. It was hot, and flames were all over. I looked around for the girl, but couldn't find her. I started waling around, and found a staircase that led me farther down. I walked down, and saw a whole group of people. They all turned up to me. Every single one of them had those eyes... I ran. I ran as fast as I could back up the stairs. I tried to jump in the entrance, but it shot me back out. I turned around, and saw another one. I jumped in that one, and it slung me upwards. When it finally got me up, the hall had all it's lights on, but I was across the building, in a hall parallel to the one I was previously in. I walked around, and found that my class was outside today. I walked over to the group, and my friend's Kristen and Abby found me. "Where have you been?" Kristen had asked me. I ignored the question, not to be rude, but because I didn't really know what to say. School eventually ended, and I started to walk through the parking lot. Suddenly, I saw two people that looked familiar. They turned to me, and smiled evilly. I recognized them. The white eyed people were surrounding them, as if worshiping them. They walked up to me, and changed. The one on the right, he got a blue... costume, and his arms extended. The guy on the left got a yellow costume. I threw my arm down and my skin was covered in fire, as if it was an armor. The two of them laughed at me, and the one on the right attacked me. He tried punching at me, as his arms would lance out to hit me. I dodged them, jumped in the air, and punched him in the face. He waddled back, and he looked to his friend. Suddenly, there was five of both of them. The guy in yellow, his power was making hologram duplicates of anyone he wanted. I started punching at random, phasing holograms. I eventually made contact with blue boy's face. He punched my stomach, throwing me back a bit. I got up, and threw a fireball at them. Suddenly, a huge, huge guy walked up. The fireball exploded behind him. He smiled at me, and laughed crookedly. I went to punch him, and he just took it like it was nothing. I had not other choice, but to blow up in a supernova type blast. So I did. I killed them, and walked to my car to go home. Before I got in, I saw someone standing over the corpses. He was wearing a large black coat. He put his hand on one corpse, and absorbed it. He walked back to the school towards the main building. I got out of my car and ran after him. I saw him jump into the blue tunnel launcher thing. I followed. as I fell in, I was surrounded by the white eyed people. The man in the black coat ordered them to attack. I dodged them, for they were covered with dark energy, and probably could kill me easily. I did some aerial flips, and landed on a platform above the crowd. Suddenly, the black coat man appeared in front of me and punched me down. Thankfully, I fell into the "up" tunnel. I landed face first into the ground, and blacked out. It was the end of the dream.
I fell back, and it was about a month later. Some sort of super power meeting was going on. The leader of the committee: it was Godzilla's son that was our age. Apparently, he had a lot of kids. So he was leading the committee in a talk about the recent attacks against the people with powers. It was those white eyed people. They were going after people with powers. "It has come to my attention that one of the people in this room might be leading these traitorous assaults." I stood up, and pointed at the black coat guy. He looked at me, and then snapped his finger. Suddenly, a bunch of power-armored soldiers flew in from the ceiling, and attacked. Thankfully we all had powers. It became an all-out war. The black coat guy tried to escape, but I turned on my fire, and jumped at him. We flew through the wall, and landed outside. We started fighting, when my girlfriend appeared. She could shoot missiles from her hands. She started shooting the black coat man. He turned to strike her, when I fired a beam of fire at him. I held him into the ground. My girlfriend stood back. I stopped shooting, and looked at the black-coat man. He snapped his burnt finger, and the entire building behind us exploded. No one survived the blast. I jumped on the black coat guy, and kept punching his face with my fists of fire. Eventually he died. I stood up, and looked at the damage. So many lives had been lost...

How I feel
Okay, so a couple years ago, I was dating this girl. She eventually cheated on me... twice... so I never could figure out how I felt with that... Until a year afterwards, I discovered a song. And it goes a little something like this:
Now I know some of you are probably thinking: Oh that's horrible! So what if it is? I'm entitled to my opinion. It hurt that the first girl I ever dated betrayed me like that. Kinda ruined me.

A Poem for Expressing Myself
Fatality is high
When the guns cry.
A shot of steel
My life you steal.
A blade sticks
From behind tricks.
Takes my life
With stabbing knife.
But take my heart.
Rip it apart.
A shell now
No soul now.
But nothing by man
Killing with hand
Can make me break
apart and flake.
Only you, the one.
One girl, my rising sun.
When the guns cry.
A shot of steel
My life you steal.
A blade sticks
From behind tricks.
Takes my life
With stabbing knife.
But take my heart.
Rip it apart.
A shell now
No soul now.
But nothing by man
Killing with hand
Can make me break
apart and flake.
Only you, the one.
One girl, my rising sun.

Expressive Writing (Internal dialogue)
The half drawn curtain moved. I looked up, ready to face the crowd. "Show time," I thought, grinning to myself. I took two steps forward, gaining the attention of the audience. my eyes were closed, allowing me to focus on my lines. "Say 'it seems we all have a new life,' don't mess up." I opened my eyes, but no one was there. The audience was non-existent. I turned around, hoping a fellow performer could help me, but they, too, were gone. "What? But? How? No! They were right th-... Wait... Where am I? I don't... How did I get here? And why are these clothes so... gah... tight? As I struggled to get the costume off, I felt the fabrics tightening. I panicked.
Cold sweat started dripping down my forehead. I was being crushed by the clothes. "N-no!" I cried, trying to free myself. The room grew cold, and I blacked out.
I awoke in a fight, not suer where I was. I was still on the stage. "How?" I questioned myself.
"We did it," a thousand voices spoke. I turned to the audience, and was taken aback. Thousands of people were in the audience.
"Wha-" I started, when a hand fell on my shoulder, griping me in a sense of comfort. The conductor of the orchestra was starring down on me. He smiled, revealing a look of victory.
"Welcome to the Ghost Opera," he greeted. My head swarmed with thousands of questions.
"Am I dead? How? Why? But... I... you..." too many thoughts were filling my head. I fell to my knees, and cried out in agony. I stood again, and turned to the conductor. "Am I next to perform?" I asked. He gestured to the ghostly audience. I took two steps forward, gaining their attention. "It seems we all have a new afterlife," I spoke, realizing I messed up my line. "No! It was supposed to b-.... no wait. This made more sense. I wonder if they'll notice."
Suddenly, the crowd roared with applause, causing the stage to shake. So many hands clapping. Thousands of people telling me, "you did it!" I closed my eyes, and took a bow.
My eyes shot open, sirens wailing in my ears. My body ached from head to toe. My head throbbed with pain of all sorts. An I.V. was inserted into my veins. "I'm... alive..." I whispered.
"Hey! He's okay!" a voice called out. "Okay, son, we're gonna give you a drug to keep the pain down. You fell off the stage, and landed square on your head. It was a six foot drop. You should be fine."
"I'm... alive..." I thought again, feeling dizzy as a warmer liquid flooded my body. I started to drift to sleep. "I'm not a ghost... I'm okay...." Suddenly, a familiar feeling reached my shoulder. A hand gripping me. My clothes started to feel tight, and I blacked out.
